LSU football fans were thrilled when former Colorado left tackle Jordan Seaton signed with LSU as the No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 4 overall player in the transfer portal this offseason, and for good reason. Seaton has the potential to be a bookend, “set-it-and-forget-it” type of force on Sam Leavitt’s blindside this season, and the way he looked when he showed up to spring practice has only strengthened that notion.
Seaton was listed at 6-5 and 330 pounds at Colorado last season, with some of that 330 being bad weight. Now, he’s listed at 307 pounds, and he looked like a completely different player at LSU’s Pro Day on Monday.

Head coach Lane Kiffin commented on Seaton’s work ethic and everything he did this offseason during a press conference on Tuesday.
“Jordan has done a phenomenal job since he got here. I’ll come up here, it’ll be Sunday at 9 PM, and he’ll be out there doing his own stuff, working out,” Kiffin explained.
Seaton was already a top talent last season at Colorado, but with all the benefits likely to come with this physical change, he may find another level in Baton Rouge this season.
Kiffin went on to talk about the importance of Seaton’s work ethic as it relates to establishing a culture at LSU, saying that he wants Seaton’s mindset and the way that he works to “become the norm.”
“I’m happy that Jordan is there to lead [by example],” Kiffin said. “When you can have your marquee name players who appear to be the best ones coming in, and [their work ethic] is what the other kids see as they come in, it’s really important.”
Seaton was already poised to be one of the pillars of LSU football this upcoming season, and the thought that he might still have a whole new level to reach in 2026 makes things even more exciting.
