Bill Self has decided to return
The longtime Kansas coach said Wednesday that he would be back with the team for the 2026-27 season. Self said following the Jayhawks’ second-round NCAA tournament loss to St. John’s that he would be discussing his future with his family. Self said that he wanted to continue coaching, but that he also wanted to feel good while doing so.
