The Cleveland Guardians are bringing a 24-year old infielder onto the roster.
It could signal an injury concern for a more veteran player, though.
The roster move that’s known about for sure on Monday night is this, via Guardians Prospective: Juan Brito is being promoted to MLB from Triple-A Columbus.

The point of concern is likely Gabriel Arias, who was pinch-run for partway through Monday’s game against the Royals.
During the game, Daniel Schneeman pinch-ran and took over at second base, while Brayan Rocchio moved over to shortstop.
Brito can play both those spots.
The 24-year old Brito, from the Dominican Republic, will make his MLB debut when he gets into a game.
He’s been a really good minor league ballplayer and at times a well-regarded prospect.
Soon enough, he’ll get a chance to finally play for the Guardians.
This season at Columbus, Brito is 11-for-35 to start the campaign, a .314 average with an .862 OPS that includes five doubles.
His career minor league OPS is .832.
Brito gets the call before Travis Bazzana in part because Brito is already on the 40-man roster.
He also has earned this chance for himself, and if he swings it well enough, he might get a chance to stick around.
