The Golden State Warriors fell to the Phoenix Suns Friday night, ending their playoff hopes after a 37-45 regular season.
That said, Stephen Curry made NBA history in the defeat, becoming the highest-scoring player in NBA Play-In Tournament history after scoring 17 points.
This follows a 35-point game Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The record doesn’t come as a surprise to many, as Curry and the Warriors have made the Play-In in four of the last six seasons.
Looking ahead, Golden State will have plenty of decisions to make as their aging roster hopes to avoid the Play-In Tournament for a fifth time during the 2026-27 campaign.
