Alex Bullock’s South Dakota State bio
Quick breakdown
After having a small role at Nebraska, Bullock put together a breakout season at South Dakota State in 2025. He was targeted 117 times — the fifth-most at the FCS level — catching 70 of those passes for 941 yards with five touchdowns. He was a very reliable pass-catcher, credited with only two drops, and has experience lining up both inside and out. Bullock has some special teams experience as well.

Can Alex Bullock make a roster push with the Jaguars?
If Step 1 for a UDFA when it comes to making the 53-man roster is performing well throughout training camp, then Step 2 is that the player must be at a position where there is a roster spot or two up for grabs. Before the draft, the receiver position fit into that bucket, but not so much anymore. The Jaguars would select two wide receivers, taking Josh Cameron and CJ Williams.
Perhaps the Jaguars go heavy here with Travis Hunter playing both ways and keep a seventh wideout, which would then open up a potential roster spot. Beyond the receiving aspect of playing the position, the ability to help in the run game and contribute on special teams can be differentiators for those back-end of the roster players.
