Dana White has reopened an old wound with Anderson Silva, years after one of the UFC’s greatest champions left the promotion on bitter terms.
Speaking with Rolling Stone, the UFC boss said Silva still does not speak to him because he told the Brazilian his UFC career was over after his 2020 knockout defeat to Uriah Hall.
‘The Spider’ has now responded, and his comeback was sharp, calling White “the bald guy”, despite being bald himself.

Silva left his message in the comments of an Instagram post after White’s latest remarks, making it clear he has not forgotten his exit.
“The bald guy saying s—. I’ve been out of the organization for many years already, but apparently neither the current fighters nor the bald guy can forget my accomplishments,” he began by saying.
“Deep down, the bald guy knows that with me there was no whining, everyone went in to throw down, and I saved the event more than once. And just so it’s on record, the bald guy apparently doesn’t know how to count.”
The counting line matters because White suggested Silva lost eight, nine or even ten in a row. His final UFC run was poor, but not that simple.
Silva lost seven of his last nine UFC fights. That included two title defeats to Chris Weidman: first by knockout, then by TKO after Silva broke his leg.
He beat Derek Brunson and Nick Diaz, although that result was later changed to a draw after both UFC stars failed the drug test.
That record explains why White moved on. But Silva’s reply shows their feud still has sting, even when the insult is unintentionally self-aware.
