Celine Boutier, a Duke women’s golf graduate, claimed her seventh career Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) victory this past weekend, winning the 2026 ShopRite LPGA powered by Wakefern at the Seaview Bay Course in Galloway.
Boutier, who graduated from Duke back in 2016, carded a 5-under 66 in the final round to come from four back to win the ShopRite LPGA for the second time in her already decorated career.
“I feel like I played steady and solid all week, and especially today,” she said. “So, super happy with the way my game is. And then very happy to finally get another win.”
Boutier finished with rounds of 66, 72, and 66 for a 9-under, 204, to beat the second-place golfer, Arpichaya Yubol, by just one stroke.
“Feels amazing,” she said. “I definitely feel like I didn’t expect it to come this week, but I feel like my game has been coming around the last few weeks. So, very happy that it came today.”
The victory comes with a prize of $300,000, pushing Boutier’s career earnings to $9,504,023 on the LPGA. She also made significant strides in the Race to the CME Globe, moving up from 46th to ninth.
The Race to the CME Globe is the LPGA’s season-long points competition. Players earn points after every official tournament throughout the year, in hopes of qualifying for the end-of-season CME Group Tour Championship, where the winner earns a $4 million champion’s check.
This was Boutier’s first LPGA win since 2023.
