The Minnesota Lynx certainly did not look worn down playing the second part of back-to-back games while playing the Dallas Wings on Sunday.
Kayla McBride scored a career-high 43 points in the Lynx’s 103-90 win over the Wings. McBride shot 15-for-19 from the floor, knocking down 10 of 13 3-pointers for a WNBA record. Sunday’s performance was the seventh time this season McBride has hit four or more shots from behind arc.
Olivia Miles added 20 points (hitting 5-of-8 3s) with 13 assists, while Naphessa Collier scored 17 in addition to 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 1 block.
With the win, the Lynx improved their record to 27-7 and became the first WNBA team this season to clinch a playoff spot.
