UFC Paris: Losene Keita pulls off celebration of the year after absurd KO of Muhammad Naimov

With three months left in 2026, Losene Keita may have already locked up MMA’s post-fight celebration of the year.

The man they call “Black Panther” pulled off a stunning one-punch knockout of Muhammad Naimov on Saturday at UFC Paris, starching the featherweight veteran with a wicked right hook at the 2:54 mark of the opening round. Then, without missing a beat, Belgium’s Keita vaulted over the cage wall, leapt into the crowd, and promptly took a seat — only to cross his legs and begin giving himself a calm, restrained round of applause as chaos unfolded around him inside France’s Accor Arena.

Keita (17-2), a former featherweight and lightweight champion of regional MMA giant Oktagon, suffered a split decision loss to Nathaniel Wood in his UFC debut in March at UFC London. Months later, he made sure his first UFC victory would be one to remember.

“Hey, like I said, London, that was just a warm-up. Now the ‘Black Panther’ is here,” Keita proclaimed post-fight Saturday. “But first, sorry, I don’t want to talk too much, but listen, there is one guy — Lerone Murphy — this is not a callout. This is a warning shot. He told me I would never win in the UFC.

“Lerone Murphy, I’m coming for you. Never doubt me. I know I don’t have your time yet, but I’m coming for your ass, and believe that, I will work my ass off, bro. You’ve been how long in the UFC and I’ve got, I think, more finishes than you. Trust me, I’m coming.”

Murphy, a longtime UFC featherweight contender, was sitting cageside and reacted with a grin to Keita’s callout.

As for Naimov, the brutal loss drops his promotion record to 5-3 over eight appearances.
