Barcelona star Lamine Yamal secured yet another piece of European football history for himself during the club’s latest outing. This came courtesy of his starring performance in the Blaugrana’s meeting with Feyenoord.

From his berth on the right flank, the 19-year-old directly contributed to three of Barcelona’s five goals, courtesy of a pair of assists, followed by a free-kick goal of his own.
And as alluded to above, in the process, Lamine took over ownership of yet another Champions League record. As revealed by statisticians Opta:
‘Lamine Yamal now has 21 goal involvements in the UEFA Champions League (11 goals, 10 assists); the outright most by a teenager in the competition’s history, overtaking Kylian Mbappé’s 20.’
This stat was posted immediately following Lamine’s first assist of the evening on Wednesday, meaning he has in fact since taken his tally to 23.
