2026 Connecticut high school girls soccer coaches polls: Greenwich, Foran remain No. 1

The girls soccer teams at the top of the Connecticut coaches polls remained the same in week 1, but there are a few new teams in the top 10 following the first week of the regular season.

Greenwich received 13 of the 14 first-place votes in the Class LL/L coaches poll while Foran received all 15. Amity and Northwest Catholic stayed at No. 2 in its respective polls. After that, many teams switched positions.

CCC teams Farmington and Glastonbury moved in at No. 9 and 10, respectively, in the LL/L poll. Dropping out were New Canaan and Masuk. St. Joseph, Ridgefield and Mercy, which received the other first-place vote, rounded out the top five.

Granby was the only team to jump into the top 10 in the M/S poll at No. 7. Canton dropped out. East Hampton, Lewis Mills and Barlow rounded out the top five this week.
