
Six Connecticut lacrosse players were ranked among the nation’s best recruits on the latest Inside Lacrosse Nike men’s and women’s Top 100 for the Class of 2028.
The group included two girls lacrosse standouts, with attack Peyla Carcaterra at No. 2, and midfielder Gabby Ray at No. 7. Carcaterra is from Ridgefield and plays for Sacred Heart-Greenwich, and Ray plays for Wilton and has committed to North Carolina.
Ella Bacallao, a goalie at Sacred Heart-Greenwich and Michigan commit, ranked No. 10.
The boys’ group features three Brunswick attacks: No. 9 Austin Tuttle of Cos Cob, No. 12 Hunter Hanford of Darien; and No. 19 Sawyer Bligh of Greenwich.
New Canaan attack Grey Wildman, who recently committed to Princeton, is ranked No. 24.
A bit further down the list, Brunswick defenseman Max Marschner of Greenwich is No. 43, and Westminster attack Hudson O’Hanlon of Madison is No. 45. Both have committed, Marschner to Notre Dame and O’Hanlon to Syracuse.
