The Indianapolis Colts are heading to a dark place. Game day may be bright and sunny with the perfect temperature and the right amount of wind, but it is sure to send a chill down the spine of Colts Nation. Facing the Pittsburgh Steelers in Pittsburgh has almost never gone well, but the Colts get a chance to right some wrongs next week. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Colts as underdogs at +1.5 points in the spread.
The money line starts at +112 while the over/under comes in at 41.5.
The Colts have gotten their season back on track after an 0-2 start. Wins against the Texans and Commanders have them pointed in the right direction. Concerning play from Daniel Jones continues to be a mild theme as turnovers and a lack of positive ball movement were the story for the offense in the first half. Luckily, Jonathan Taylor wears a horseshoe, and the defense kept this one close enough for the Colts to pull comfortably ahead and reach .500.
The Steelers found themselves on the rare side of an “L” to the Cleveland Browns. It’s a rivalry that’s actually become more of a true division battle over the years than it used to be, though. The old Browns would have rolled over after falling behind 0-7 to start, but this is the 3-1 Browns. They scored the next 21 and held the Steelers off with a late-game field goal. The Steelers will be looking to get that taste out of their mouths.
This is a huge game for the Colts. A 2-3 to start the year with their schedule is something most fans would have taken. Now that they are at 2-2, however, 3-2 sounds much better. It will be a chance to continue their streak and build contender status in the league by picking up a solid win against an opponent that causes them fits. This could mark a major season shift.
