Carrying their first losing streak of the 2026-27 season, the Wild bounced back with a 4-1 win over the Florida Panthers on Saturday night. Superstar Kirill Kaprizov found the back of the net three times for his seventh career hat trick, and he’s now tied for the NHL lead with six goals.
Goaltender Jesper Wallstedt had another great performance with 29 saves, and Minnesota took advantage. Matt Boldy scored 53 seconds into the game, and Kaprizov had one goal in each period.

Kaprizov now has six goals and two assists on the season. Evan Bouchard and Kyle Connor led the league with six goals before Saturday night’s action, so Kaprizov has matched that mark.
Amid ongoing trade rumors, contract extension talks and mounting injuries, the Wild have started the season 3-1-1. They will return home to face the Golden Knights in St. Paul on Monday night at 7 p.m. CT.
