Kenneth Walker III and the Kansas City Chiefs returned to the field after a bye. The great free-agent signing didn’t miss a step as he had a big game in a win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
That performance left Walker with 665 yards and enabled him to pass Bijan Robinson of the Atlanta Falcons (641 yards) for the NFL lead after six weeks. At this rate, Walker is going to be one of the great free-agent signings.
James Cook of the Buffalo Bills is third with 627 yards. Along with Walker and Robinson, he is the only running back to be over 600 yards through six weeks.
