Defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph-Day is signing a two-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers according to Adam Schefter.
The deal is an $11 million deal with $6 million in 2026 per his agent Drew Rosenhaus, Schefter tweeted.
Joseph-Day, 30, came to the Titans as a free agent before the 2024 season. Over two years in Nashville, the defensive lineman started 22 games. Playing multiple positions as a foil to star defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, Joseph-Day logged 85 tackles with 4.5 sacks, nine tackles for loss and one pass breakup. Among regular starters on the Titans’ defense, Joseph-Day ranked as the fourth highest graded player in both 2024 and 2025.

The Titans used Joseph-Day in several roles in 2025. He played more than 200 snaps at defensive tackle and more than 100 snaps each at both defensive end and edge defender.
Prior to his time in Nashville, Joseph-Day spent time out west with the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers and San Francisco 49ers. Joseph-Day won a Super Bowl during his time with the Rams.
Interior defensive line is an area of concern for the Titans heading into 2026. The Titans parted ways with two-year starter T’Vondre Sweat, a second-round pick from the 2024 draft, in a trade with the New York Jets. Joseph-Day and fellow contributor James Lynch are free agents, leaving Simmons as one of the few regular defensive lineman and the lone starter under contract.
Joseph-Day inked one-year contracts with the Titans each of the previous seasons rather than signing a long-term deal.
