The Oklahoma City Thunder held practice on Saturday. They’re amid another two-day break. They will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in a Sunday afternoon primetime matchup.
Last time out, the Thunder picked up a 104-102 win over the Boston Celtics. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander surpassed Wilt Chamberlain for the longest 20-point streak in NBA history at 127. Now it’s about how much he can pad his place at the top of the record books.
Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault and Aaron Wiggins talked to the media afterward. Daigneault talked about the value of their recent string of close games. Wiggins talked about what Ajay Mitchell brings to the table and his bad luck with freak injuries.
