Manchester City have been knocked out of the Champions League after losing 5-1 on aggregate to Real Madrid.
City trailed 3-0 from the first leg and were beaten 2-1 at home as Bernardo Silva was sent off.
The Portuguese midfielder was adjudged to have handled the ball on the line, which allowed Vinicius Jr to open the scoring from the penalty spot.
Erling Haaland gave City a small glimmer of hope with an equaliser before half-time but Pep Guardiola’s ten men were unable to find the net again, before Vinicius added a second late in the second half.
