Chazz Surratt is returning to the Seattle Seahawks in free agency.
According to ESPN’s Brady Henderson, Surratt is signing a one-year deal to remain with the Seahawks in 2026.
Surratt won the Super Bowl with the Seahawks in 2026. The North Carolina product played in 11 games last season for Seattle. He took 181 of his 188 snaps on special teams in 2025. Surratt recorded 11 total tackles on the year for Seattle.
The 29-year-old linebacker was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings with the No. 78 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Surratt played one season for the Vikings in 2021. He then played for the New York Jets from 2022-24. Surratt signed with the San Francisco 49ers on May 28, 2025. He was released on Aug. 26, 2025 before signing a one-year, $1.15 million deal with the Seahawks on Aug. 28 of that year.
Surratt is slated to play in his second season with the Seahawks in 2026.
