Luka Dončić drops 60 points, most for Lakers since Kobe Bryant’s final game

Last Thursday, Luka Dončić posted his first 50-point game with the Los Angeles Lakers. This Thursday, he went a step further.

The Slovenian star posted 59 points in a 134-126 win over the Miami Heat, the highest scoring total of his Lakers career and the third-highest mark of his career. It’s also the most points a Laker has scored in a single game since Kobe Bryant’s 60 in the final game of his career.

The last Laker to score more than 60 points was Bryant in 2008-09.
