The Seattle Seahawks scheduled their first top 30 visit with a running back so far this draft cycle yesterday, and it’s Kennesaw State’s Coleman Bennett.
Ryan Fowler reported his scheduled visit with the Seahawks after being linked to them at the Hula Bowl in January.
A name to know in the RB class, Kennesaw State RB Coleman Bennett has a 30 visit scheduled with the Seattle Seahawks, per source.

Bennett started his college career in the FCS at Bucknell University and stood out enough to transfer to Rice after his first three years, but only saw action in four games his senior year. He used it as his redshirt season, transferred to Kennesaw State, and rushed for 4.8 yards per carry as a fifth-year. He’s had a good pre-draft process that looks like that of a priority undrafted free agent.
First, he stood out at the Hula Bowl and scored a touchdown, where the Seahawks and three other teams talked with him as Easton Butler reported (see tweet above). He had his pro day on Thursday and showed some intriguing traits, too, which Seattle was clearly monitoring. Bringing him in for a top 30 visit is a strategy Seattle has utilized with other projected UDFAs in the past to stand out above other teams come signing time, including with Jake Bobo back in 2023. That’s especially crucial in a year the Seahawks only have four total draft picks.
Bennett shares similar traits to Emanuel Wilson in terms of size-over-speed with lateral explosiveness, and grinding through smaller schools in his college career to become an NFL prospect. It seems like the Seahawks have a specific type they’re going for to find diamonds in the rough at running back this offseason.
