NFL Free agency is really just a quick wave of signings that eventually slows by the first Thursday of the new league year, with the remaining signings usually coming in slowly and in small numbers. Teams around the league are preparing for the NFL draft, and as roster reshaping begins, the onus will be on improving through the selection process, while saving the late portion of Free Agency for under-the-radar signings that teams hope will develop into quality signings with huge dividends.
Baltimore lost 12 players, signed six free agents, and has six players who remain unsigned.
With the off-season rolling along, we’re looking at five bargain free agents Baltimore GM Eric DeCosta could have an interest in signing.
Running Back Brian Robinson
Robinson was a third-round pick by Washington in 2022 and rushed for 797 yards as a rookie, 733 yards in 2023, and 799 yards in 2024. Robinson was still consistent with the 49ers last year, rushing for 400 yards behind Christian McCaffrey.
TE Jonnu Smith
Smith was acquired by the Steelers last year in a trade with the Miami Dolphins. In 2025, Smith had 38 receptions for 222 yards, a 5.8-yard average, and two touchdowns.
OL Alex Cappa
Cappa signed with the Raiders in 2025 after spending three seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was originally selected in the third round as the 94th overall pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2018 and spent his first four seasons with the team. In his sole season with the Raiders, Cappa appeared in 17 games, starting eight of them as a right guard and center.
Kevin Zeitler
Zeitler remained efficient for the Titans at age 35. Last season, Pro Football Focus ranked him as the 11th-best guard in the NFL. Even more impressive, Zeitler has played at least 15 games every season since 2015. He is sturdy in pass protection and could elevate an offensive system.
Joel Bitonio, G
The 12-year pro has started 178 NFL games and, last season, had a 96.4% pass-blocking win rate in 2025 (third-best among 65 qualifying guards), while allowing only two sacks.
