The Boston Red Sox know exactly who they will be working with on Opening Day against the Cincinnati Reds.
Boston’s roster was officially finalized after infielders Triston Casas and Anthony Seigler were placed on the 10-day injured list, and pitchers Kutter Crawford and Patrick Sandoval were placed on the 15-day injured list — all retroactive to March 22 — and will look like this:

The Red Sox have not made an official decision as to what the starting rotation will be, though the initial plan is to start Connelly Early, while Johan Oviedo will be used to piggyback off Ranger Suarez and Brayan Bello. Garrett Crochet and Sonny Gray will start the first two games of the season at Great American Ball Park.
Roman Anthony, Jarren Duran, Wilyer Abreu, and Ceddanne Rafaela are expected to get the majority of at-bats from that list of outfielders. Masataka Yoshida is expected to get the majority of his time at designated hitter, though he will be mixed in with the former two whenever they get days off from the field.
Willson Contreras, Marcelo Mayer, Trevor Story, and Caleb Durbin will start the majority of games, from left to right, in the infield.
