You may not know your favorite team’s first-round pick yet, but you can wear his hat before he does.
On Monday, March 30, New Era released the 2026 NFL Draft caps. Players will wear them on stage in Pittsburgh as their dreams turn into reality.
The draft is April 23-25. First-round picks will get a cap to go along with a team jersey and, if they want it, a hug from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

NFL reporter Ari Meirov posted photos of the cap designs on his X account. He shared that the Los Angeles Rams cap has not yet been released. According to RamsWire, the team is expected to unveil a new primary logo, likely the reason for the delay.
New Era began designing official NFL draft caps in 2012 when the company became the official supplier of sideline caps.
On Monday, New Era posted a link for fans to purchase the new caps. Prices range from $40.99 for the 9FORTY M-Crown Snapback to $55.99 for the 59FIFTY fitted.
Now that we’re just 24 days from the NFL draft, mock draft season is in full swing. In a full mock draft released Monday by ESPN’s Matt Miller, the Las Vegas Raiders do the expected and select Indiana Hoosiers quarterback Fernando Mendoza will the first pick.
Miller has four Ohio State Buckeyes — Arvell Reese, Caleb Downs, Carnell Tate and Sonny Styles — going in the first 10 picks. In somewhat of a surprise, he predicts Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jeremiyah Love to go to the Tennessee Titans at No. 4.
According to Miller, Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Ty Simpson will be the first pick of the second round by the New York Jets. Clearly, Miller disagrees with ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky, who insists Simpson is the best QB available in the draft.
Finally, ESPN and the NFL Network will broadcast the first round of the NFL draft at 8 p.m. ET April 23.
