No. 1 Maryland women’s lacrosse attacker Lauren LaPointe, midfielder Kori Edmondson and goalkeeper JJ Suriano were named midseason All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse, the organization announced Wednesday.
LaPointe has emerged as a star after two years on the bench, leading the Terps in scoring, while Edmondson mounts another year as a force on both ends. Suriano is likewise excelling in year two as a starter.
The trio has led Maryland to a 12-0 start, sitting as the only undefeated program in the country and atop both Inside Lacrosse and IWLCA’s top-25 poll. Next up for the Terps is a Saturday matinee at SECU Stadium with Rutgers.
