Kelsey Plum reportedly agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Sparks on a one-year, $999,999 deal, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. Plum could have signed a supermax contract worth $1.4 million, but decided to give the Sparks financial flexibility as they build their roster for 2026.

Plum was traded to the Los Angeles Sparks last offseason. Last year, the 31-year-old averaged 19.5 points, 5.7 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals. She previously spent six seasons with the Las Vegas Aces, where she was a four-time All-Star and won back-to-back titles in 2022 and 2023. She also won the Commissioner’s Cup with the team in 2022 and was named WNBA Sixth Player of the Year in 2021.
Plum was drafted by the San Antonio Stars, who later relocated to Las Vegas and became the Aces, with the No. 1 overall pick out of Washington in 2017.
