Alexander Nübel had a good run during his time at VfB Stuttgart, and will return to Bayern Munich now that his loan has come to and end. He joined the club way back in the 2023/24 season, and comes back a new player.
Speaking to the Stuttgart fans, Nübel shared a heartfelt farewell. “It was a sensational time at VfB Stuttgart in every respect,” he said. “My family and I had three wonderful years in Stuttgart, and I felt very comfortable from the very first day. I was treated with so much appreciation and respect by the team and the fans, for which I am very grateful.”
Beyond the personal connection, Nübel emphasized the club’s sporting resurgence during his time there. “It was also a very successful time from a sporting perspective: we qualified for international competition three times, experienced unforgettable evenings in the Champions League and Europa League, and celebrated a very special moment with the DFB-Pokal victory, which will be remembered forever.”
Nübel’s departure marks the end of a transformative era for both the player and the club, leaving their fans to look back on a period defined by consistent European football and historic silverware.
