Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry made the news Thursday, as it was announced that the former two-time MVP would be teaming up with his wife and a Michelin star restaurant owner, Michael Mina, to bring three luxury dining restaurants to Curry’s hometown in Charlotte.
According to the Charlotte Observer, the three restaurants will be part of the Ritz-Carlton in uptown Charlotte. Each restaurant will take inspiration from one of the three aforementioned partners: Ayesha Curry’s “Sweet July Cafe,” Stephen Curry’s “The Eighth Rule,” and Michael Mina’s “Bourbon Steak.” Ayesha’s cafe is scheduled to open in July, while Stephen’s cocktail lounge and Mina’s steakhouse are targeting an opening during the winter of 2026.
