Tottenham are close to agreeing a deal for Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi, according to the BBC.
Senesi is out of contract with Bournemouth this summer and Tottenham are nearing a deal for the Argentinian centre-back.
Senesi played 37 of Bournemouth’s 38 league games, starting every single one of them. Centre-back is a position where Tottenham need to strengthen, given the likely departure of captain Cristian Romero.
Senesi joined the Cherries from Dutch side Feyenoord in 2022, and has played 128 games for the club.
Alongside this transfer, Tottenham are also close to signing Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson, also on a free transfer.
