Halftime Observations
- Tim Binder is impressing more and more throughout preseason, ditto Sacha Boey. Both looked solid in the games they’ve played in so far.
- The same can’t be said for Arijon Ibrahimović. Every passing game makes it look like he’s not even fit for Heindeheim with whom he spent a year on loan at.
- Bayern still struggles with speed when defending attacks.
- Luis Díaz is good but Bayern can’t run him into the ground this year.

Bayern Munich is going to host RB Leipzig for the 2026 edition of the Telekom Cup. The Bavarians took on Tottenham Hotspur in the 2025 edition and won 4-0 thanks to goals from Harry Kane, Kingsley Coman, Lennart Karl, and Jonah Kusi-Asare.
With World Cup stars slowly coming back to the fold, the Rekordmeister will be looking to extend its preseason run of results, having won three of their last four matches. An old face returns in the form of Argentinian coach Martín Demichelis, who played for Bayern for seven years.
