Georgia Southern will make its 2026 season debut after going 7-6 in 2025 and closing the year with a 29-10 victory over App State in the Birmingham Bowl. Head coach Clay Helton enters his fifth season with a revamped roster that returns only six starters, but the Eagles have been particularly strong in home openers, winning 34 of 41 at Paulson Stadium.
