The San Francisco 49ers entered Week 2 of the NFL season with a 1-0 record after a decisive win over the division rival Los Angeles Rams in Week 1. They are matched up with the Miami Dolphins this Sunday.
San Francisco was up 35-6 on Miami early in the fourth quarter when new wide receiver Mike Evans unfortunately left the game with a hip injury. The 49ers’ official account reported the news on X.
Evans had recorded three catches on three targets for 54 yards in the game before his exit. With the 49ers up big, one can figure that they will stick to the run for the rest of the game. If the injury turns out to be serious, it could be Demarcus Robinson that is asked to fill Evans’ role.
