The NFL could be witnessing the final swan song for a number of players nearing retirement. One of those players is Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. After tying the knot with Taylor Swift this summer, Kelce looks like a new man on the field through the first two weeks of the season.

Reid spoke to local media and said Swift is no stranger to preparation and being on her A-Game. If anything, Swift might be setting the standard for her husband.
“Everybody questioned with the wedding and all of that … ‘would he be out of shape and honeymooning the whole time [in the offseason]?’ and all of that … But he really works his rear end off and I think Taylor, you’re putting on four-hour shows, you’ve got to work hard too. So I’m sure she kicks him in the butt a little there too.” Reid told KSHB 41 News.

Perhaps Reid is onto something. Kelce had a big Sunday night against the Indianapolis Colts. His nine-reception, 101-yard, one-touchdown performance marked his first 100-yard game since November 2024.
