Thursday’s Connecticut high school sports roundup: Xavier boys soccer edges Hand

Anthony DiMauro scored on an assist from Hayden Modica in the first half to lead the Xavier boys soccer team to a 1-0 win over Hand on Thursday.

RJ Frashcilla made five saves for Xavier in its SCC matchup. Hand’s Billy Shay made five saves.

Xavier improved to 6-0-1, while Hand dropped to 5-1-1.
