The reaction was split between relief, praise for the Raiders and concerns about what Kansas City needs to fix during the bye week.

Another supporter had no doubts about the importance of the result, adding: “Raiders ain’t no joke, that’s a huge win for KC!”
There was also a call for Kansas City to use its upcoming bye week wisely, with one fan posting:
“A hard win against the Raiders battle through it on to the bye week Chiefs Kingdom we need this bye to rethink some stuff Chiefs Kingdom.”
For another supporter, Raiders games have become a particular source of nerves: “The Raiders game is the only one that still gets my heart racing and that’s saying something”
Raiders fans also had plenty to celebrate despite the defeat. One wrote: “Great game between the Raiders and Chiefs! Loving this season, been a while since I thought of possible playoff hopes for the Raiders. This team has those vibes. A ton of heart and no quit in them. Go Raiders!!!”
Another agreed, calling it “a really good nail-biting game” while adding that the Raiders “are legit contenders” and “a heck of a team this year!”
There was also one fan already looking ahead to what could come next for Las Vegas: “Once the Raiders lose 1 they lose 10 right behind it let the lose streak begin.”
The Chiefs now enter their bye week undefeated before returning against the Los Angeles Chargers on October 18. For the Raiders, the narrow defeat showed they can push Kansas City all the way, even if they left Allegiant Stadium without the win.
