The Green Bay Packers offense has looked immensely better over the last two weeks than it did in the first three games of the 2026 NFL season. The result has been a mini two-game losing streak that has kept Green Bay on pace with their rivals in the NFC North.
On Sunday night, they will look to win their third consecutive game against the 2-3 Dallas Cowboys, whose defense has been decimated by injuries and inconsistency. So poor as their defensive unit played that they just hired former Packers defensive coordinator Mike Pettine as a senior advisor.
All this to say that Green Bay has an opportunity to put on another great offensive show in Week Six, and they could get one of their promising young wide receivers back in time for it.
Savion Williams is questionable on the Green Bay Packers injury report ahead of Dallas Cowboys game

Green Bay’s injury report for Week Six lists five players as questionable, one as doubtful, and four as out.
Questionable
- Savion Williams
- Aaron Banks
- Anthony Campbell
- Brandon Cisse
- Jacob Monk
Doubtful
- Jordon Riley
Out
- Javon Hargrave
- Skyy Moore
- Jonathan Ford
- Benjamin St. Juste
Williams suffered a high ankle sprain during the preseason, which led to him starting the year on injured reserve. The Packers opened up his practice window last week, meaning that they have about seven more days to add him to their active roster.
Presumably, the second-year wide receiver will make his season debut on Sunday against Dallas. Green Bay lost kick off return specialist Skyy Moore to an ankle sprain, and need to place defensive tackle Javon Hargrave on injured reserve after he tore his Achilles in Week Five.
Williams did not have a huge rookie season as he was buried down on the depth chart in 2025. He recorded a total of 37 rushing yards, 78 receiving yards, and a touchdown last year.
The expectation now, however, is that his role on offense will increase. “We’ve always kind of saw him primarily as [a wide receiver],” Matt LaFleur said. “But certainly, he’s got a skill set that’s a little bit unique. You go back and watch his college tape at TCU, the way they utilized him … he’s pretty dynamic when he gets the ball in his hand.”
With slot receiver Jayden Reed also out for the season, Williams’ possible return could not have come at a better time. He can fill that role, which had been tasked to Moore when Reed went down, and help on kick and punt returns.
As an aside, it will be interesting to see what the Packers do at defensive tackle on Sunday night. With Hargrave imminently going on IR and Riley doubtful, they only have three healthy players at the position.
