There are some things you just don’t do, and spitting on an opponent is one of those things that completely crosses the line. Buffalo Bills cornerback CJ Gardner-Johnson did not get the memo.
During Sunday evening’s game between the Bills and Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium, Gardner-Johnson was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct.
When the replay was shown on CBS, future NFL Hall of Famer J.J. Watt and play-by-play legend Jim Nantz immediately noticed Gardner-Johnson spit in the direction of Raiders tight end Brock Bowers and a group of offensive linemen. The Raiders wasted no time alerting officials, and Gardner-Johnson was sent to the locker room.

There is no place for that in the league.
In case there was any doubt, a slow-mo video of the incident clearly shows Gardner-Johnson spitting at his opponents.
