Eagles’ Nick Sirianni isn’t ruling anything out to fix dreadful offense without Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
As the Philadelphia Eagles are dealing with injury woes to key players like quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley, it led to a frustrating loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, 25-14. With the Eagles needing them back after the struggles, head coach Nick Sirianni speaks on potential changes that need to happen.
Filling in for Hurts is quarterback Tanner McKee, who threw for 215 yards to go along with a touchdown pass and no interceptions, and with no Barkley, in comes Dameon Pierce, who logged 12 carries for 35 yards and a touchdown. Sirianni would be candid after the game in saying that “everything’s on the table” when it comes to changes that need to be made.
“We have to do different things to get them going and score more points, plain and simple, especially there in that second half. So, everything’s on the table. To do the same thing over and over again and not get the results, that’d be foolish. Everything’s on the table of what we need to do to be able to put points on the board,” Sirianni said, according to Zach Berman.

Eagles’ Nick Sirianni on Sean Mannion
At the end of the day, it’s going to be hard for any team to win games when they don’t have their starting quarterback and star running back available, though fans will point fingers at the coaching staff to overcome those hurdles. With all eyes on offensive coordinator Sean Mannion, Sirianni would say that it’s on “everybody” instead of “just on one coach.”
“We’ve got to be able to score more points, period. It’s the game of football,” Sirianni said, via Berman. “It’s on everybody…It’s not just on one coach. I don’t know who I said this to: It’s not just one coach on an island. It’s not just one player on the island. It’s not just one side of the ball that’s on an island. It’s the ultimate team game. We all have to do better, period. We all have to do better.”
At any rate, Philadelphia hopes to bounce back against the Dallas Cowboys on Oct. 26.
