Seattle Seahawkswide receiver Jake Bobo signed a contract offer sheet with the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this week. The Seahawks had five days to match. Luckily for fans who consider him a personal favorite, John Schneider made the decision to match the offer sheet, keeping Bobo in Seattle.
It was a two-year, $5.5 million offer sheet by the Jags in an attempt to pry Bobo away from the Seahawks. The deal contained $4.5 million in full guarantees. Schneider went above and beyond to retain Bobo, a depth wide receiver and excellent special teamer.
“I didn’t want to go anywhere else,” Bobo recently said. “Obviously, it looked like there was a shot I was going to end up in Jacksonville, but in the back of my mind, I was hoping the guys upstairs would make something happen, and they did.”

“This is everything you want coming into the league,” Bobo added. “I love this organization. This organization gave me a shot in the NFL. I owe my career to this organization, so to be able to stay here and build on what we’ve already built, it means a whole lot for John (Schneider) and the guys upstairs to put some trust in me to help this organization.”
Bobo will return to the Seahawks in 2026 as a depth player and fan favorite.
