CARLSBAD, Calif. — For the first time, 10 of the top female collegiate golfers have guaranteed spots to play now that their amateur playing career is coming to a close.
The Epson Tour announced Wednesday its inaugural class of LPGA Collegiate Advancement Pathway (LCAP) graduates. The program was announced in 2025, giving college seniors, or those in their last year of eligibility, a pathway to the Official Qualifying Tour of the LPGA. The top 10 following the NCAA Women’s Golf Championship earn Epson Tour status for the remainder of the current season and next, allowing the inaugural class playing opportunities for the rest of 2026 and all of 2027.
The 2026 graduates are eligible to make their professional debut at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship at The Medalist Golf Club in Battle Creek, Michigan, from June 12-14.
Meet the 10 LCAP graduates in the Class of 2026:
Megha Ganne
“I think taking, you know, just embracing the challenges that I know that are going to come. I think there’s a little bit of uncertainty when you’re starting a new chapter of professional golf and playing on a new tour. So I guess just being comfortable being uncomfortable and just go play my golf game.”
Catherine Park
“I think it means a lot because we’re taking a step forward and making a pathway is huge. I mean, Q School is so much stress and I think focusing a lot on your amateur career and then finishing out college gives a lot more collegiate golfers an option to finish college and keep on growing as a player and I think that’s what happened to me and I’m very grateful that this is happening and it’s happening when I’m here, so I feel good.”
Kelly Xu
“Yeah, I mean it’s honestly unbelievable and so huge for us playing in college. I couldn’t be more excited to start playing and not have to have any like gaps or a wait and just keep playing and keep staying in the routine. So super grateful, super exciting.”
Cindy Hsu
“I think this class, to be the first class to be in this LCAP, it meant a lot and also like motivates maybe later people to finish college and also can get Epson status after that, I think that’s just a reward of finishing your degree.”
Kary Hollenbaugh
“It’s honestly super fulfilling to know that I have Epson Tour status coming out of my season. So, I think it’s just such a blessing that they do this for collegiate golfers and that you have the opportunity to play well and earn your way towards your future.”
