Famous Arsenal fan and football host Laura Woods would love to see the Gunners sign Marcus Rashford this summer. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is preparing to bolster his attacking options at the Emirates Stadium ahead of next season. Rashford is reportedly one of those the Gunners are monitoring, and he is currently available for around £26 million. The England international spent the season on loan at Barcelona, weighing in with 14 goals and 14 assists across all competitions.
However, the La Liga club are reluctant to pay the £26m to make his season-long loan a permanent move and have gone for Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon instead. It remains to be seen where Rashford would be next season as a return to Manchester United is unlikely, but Woods wants him back in the Premier League and she is hoping Arsenal would go for him.
“I would love to see Rashford there,” she replied on talkSPORT when asked if she would be open to the Gunners signing the Englishman.
“For that amount of money? Was it £26m?”
Arsenal are eyeing a move for Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers, but they could end up signing two or three forwards depending on exits. The likes of Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard have been linked with potential exits this summer.
