One LSU football commitment in the 2027 class shut down his recruitment. Per a social media post from 247Sports’ Andre Champagnee, four-star wide receiver Ah’Mari Stevens will stick with the Tigers.
Dynamic #LSU WR pledge Ah’Mari Stevens officially shut down his recruitment on Wednesday.
“Staying locked in means I’m not visiting any other schools. I’m ready to be a Tiger,” he told @Geaux247

The wide receiver initially chose Miami but flipped to LSU in April. Head coach Lane Kiffin identified a few candidates to flip upon his arrival to Baton Rouge and was successful with Stevens. Stevens likely won’t be LSU’s last successful flip of the cycle as the Tigers remain in pursuit of the nation’s top prospects.
Stevens kept his options open through the end of the 2025 college football season despite pledging to the Hurricanes. He took an official visit to LSU, then announced he chose the Tigers.
Rivals’ Industry Rankings put Stevens at No. 39 among wide receivers in the 2027 cycle as well as No 27 out of Florida. He is one of five commitments in LSU’s group, which sits at No. 10 nationally and No. 4 in the SEC.
