The Seattle Seahawks will be without their rookie running back against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters on Friday that Jadarian Price, who suffered a chest injury in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals and played through the injury in the Week 3 loss against the Washington Commanders, re-aggravated his injury during practice and has been ruled out for Week 4. Macdonald does not know yet whether or not Price’s injury is a concern beyond this week.
Emanuel Wilson and George Holani are the only running backs on the 53-man roster, so the Seahawks will elevate from the practice squad. Velus Jones Jr has one more practice squad elevation left, while Jacardia Wright has yet to be elevated. Macdonald indicated that Wright has some issues of his own, so it looks like it’ll be Velus as the third option.
For any positive injury news, Ty Okada is questionable to return with a hamstring injury that has kept him out of the previous three games. Fellow starting safety Julian Love is off the injury report completely, so his absence from the Commanders game due to calf tightness was a one-off. Special teams ace Chazz Surratt is questionable, so he’s a late add to the injury report after not appearing in Wednesday or Thursday’s reports.
We will have a final injury/practice report in this article as soon as its available.
