Bryson DeChambeau returned to the winner’s circle at LIV Golf Singapore, his first 4 round stroke play win since his 2024 US Open victory at Pinehurst No. 2.
Play was suspended temporarily for near-torrential rain with seven holes remaining. DeChambeau had cut into Joaquin Niemann’s lead. Niemann was caught by DeChambeau on the par-3 14th hole when DeChambeau drained a long putt while Niemann missed a shorter birdie attempt.
“Incredible relief,” DeChambeau said. “I haven’t won in four rounds since the US Open in 2024. Being able to come through on a golf course like this that’s super brutal and demands precision on every single shot, especially with the conditions changing, I couldn’t be happier for my team.”

New to the league, Richard T. Lee caught DeChambeau with one hole to play at 13-under par. Lee had the advantage of finishing on the par-5 18th hole, which he reached in two shots. He missed his eagle putt but converted the birdie to tie the lead.
DeChambeau also finished on the 18th and, after a long drive, hit an iron from 245 yards just over the flag and onto the fringe. He missed his eagle putt, sending Lee and DeChambeau back to the tee for a playoff.
On the first playoff hole, DeChambeau pulled his drive into the water and hit his third shot with a fairway wood long of the green, leaving a putt for par. Lee missed the fairway with his drive but found the green with his third shot, narrowly missing a 15-foot birdie attempt.
“It was a short putt and I wanted to just hit it hard, and I hit it a little too hard,” Lee said. “I think the adrenaline was pumping a little bit.”

Lee then missed a one-and-a-half-foot tap-in on the first playoff hole. The putt, either pushed or struck too firmly, lipped out of the hole, resulting in a spectacular round-the-world three-putt bogey.
“You never want to win that way — I’ll be the first to admit that,” DeChambeau said. “But it’s happened before, and golf is a fickle and uneasy game at a lot of moments. That’s just sometimes the way the cards fall, but I just didn’t like seeing it happen.”

One of two players with no penalty drops during the week at the narrow Sentosa Golf Club, Lee is one of a handful of wild card players in the league. He gained access through the LIV Golf Promotions event at Black Diamond Ranch in 2025, having previously played on the PGA Tour and Asian Tour.
“As much as winning is great, I have a lot of respect for Richard and the way he golfs his ball out there,” DeChambeau said. “He’s a real superstar, and the league should be really proud to have him as a Wild Card.”

The 4 Aces went back-to-back in Singapore to win another team event. The team of Dustin Johnson, Anthony Kim, Thomas Detry, and Thomas Pieters saw every player shoot under par in the final round to cruise to a five-stroke victory over second-place Ripper GC.
“Obviously the league gets better every single year. It gets harder to win,” Johnson said. “You’ve got to have four really good players if you want to have a chance to win. Right now, I feel like we do.”
