When looking at the greatest Steelers to wear No. 94, there aren’t a lot of names to dethrone Pro Bowl linebacker Lawrence Timmons.
Timmons, selected by the Steelers in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft, went on to play 10 years in Pittsburgh and one final year with the Miami Dolphins, where he appeared in 172 career games and made 140 starts. Recording 1,067 combined tackles, 71 tackles for loss, 86 quarterback hits, 13 forced fumbles, and 12 interceptions in his 11-year NFL stint, Timmons also earned Pro Bowl and Second-Team All-Pro recognition in 2014.
A one-time Super Bowl champion and a staple of the late-2000s to early-2010s Steelers defense, Timmons is the best to ever don No. 94.
