The National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum is inducting three new members on Sunday: Carlos Beltran, Andruw Jones and Jeff Kent.
While there isn’t a Boston Red Sox legend being inducted this year, there are expected to be a handful of all-time greats from Red Sox history in attendance.
The Hall of Fame released a list ahead of Induction Weekend that includes the names of all the living Hall of Famers who are expected to be there.
Those in attendance will sit on the stage behind the new inductees as speeches are given on Sunday.
Four players who have a Red Sox hat on their Hall of Fame plaque are supposed to be there:
- Jim Rice
- Wade Boggs
- Pedro Martinez
- David Ortiz

There will also be a number of players with Red Sox connections in attendance that didn’t actually go into the Hall of Fame with a Boston cap on their plaque.
That includes Dennis Eckerlsey, who has an A’s hat on his plaque.
Andre Dawson and Adrian Beltre also played for the Red Sox in their long MLB careers and are supposed to be in Cooperstown on Sunday.
And one of those under-the-radar ones: Jeff Bagwell was a Red Sox draft pick, but he did all his Hall of Fame work in the major leagues with the Houston Astros.
It’s always special when the all-time greats of the game of baseball assemble in Cooperstown for Induction Weekend, and Boston will be well-represented.
